MellowYellowBadge

'Tis she who cheers the dreary days;
'Tis joy to know so sweet a friend;
No fairer flower blooms 'neath the sun
Than autumn's queen Chrysanthemum.

I very much like the spidery varieties! I think I may have missed a great show!

Stine: it would be worth your drive to Hamilton.
many people around me were commenting on the yellow tipped spidery ones.

Breathtaking photos! I love how the Chrysanthemum petals curl up, so festive!

Marice: it's always so hard to decide which ones are a favourite

Diane: thank you. I was trying to take some macro shots of the curling petals, but realized that if you just click on the photos you get a perfect closeup. I like that "festive"!

Beautiful Mums!

Okay, I am back. I have been running like crazy. Now I'm going to sit and breath for a moment.

I used to buy Mums for my Grandmother every year. She loved them but she couldn't keep them alive. She liked the orange ones best, I liked the others like the pinkish ones here, and the purple ones.

I have added your blog to my feed reader & my blogroll, so I'll be back!

Quilly: thanks.
I am surprised that my two pots on the balcony are still alive. I usually kill the flowers I love best. Sad, eh?
