Carol: thanks, I'm not overly fond of the second one, but I wanted to show the contrasting views.

SMT: yes, that layering - should have been warmer!

JBar: very grey it became later!

Char: thanks.

Hildred and Charles: the lighting off the buildings fascinated me.

Eden: thank you.

Serendipity: I'm glad, thanks.

Carolyn: yes, it was rather dramatic

Janice: and moody.

Quilly: it's interesting how different the water looks, when all I did was turn around...

Uproad: that's funny, I usually think other peoples skies look huge, but I guess this is too!

Syel: it looks almost as if they were dancing together.

HRG: blustery can bring beautiful skies with it.

It's interesting to see how the sky can be so different when looking in opposite directions. Were you standing in the same spot when you took these photos?

Clouds like those always look so much more dramatic when they're moving over water. Great shot...Thanks for visiting mine!

Lorac: thanks. the skyline keeps changing.

Stine: yes, I was. truly, all I did was turn to face the opposite direction!

Linnea: I guess the openness of a big body of water helps
