I didn't know they had part of the old sign inside - that's great.
the other side is in the back behind the screen. I think this may have been out just for the Door Open. I think it should be mounted inside somewhere.
Sometimes "out with the old and in with the new" doesn't necessarily mean a good thing. I'm glad they kept the old style lettering both outside AND the original letters.
I'm glad the sign was not destroyed in the snow storm. It definitely should be mounted inside the refurbished theatre. What a wonderful piece of history.

I remember hearing about this. I was never in the Revue, but I did frequent The Bloor quite often back in the day.

Did you visit this during Doors Open? Looks really neat! Glad it has been restored.
Yes, I could only come for one day and I packed in as much as I could! This was high on my list. The theatre itself is not that grand, but it was sentimental. And we got inside the projection room, which was really cool!
Heartwarming. The will of a community in cooperation can overcome anything, accomplish anything.

@Francisca, the materials were donated (some from the local hardware store) and it is now a not-for-profit cinema. this is truly a community effort.
