It has been too cold to go out bridge hunting - or any photo hunting - so this week, I am posting views from my trip to Corning New York from last summer. I remember seeing a sign in a shop window about “saving the Chemung Bridge” which I assume is the one above that is in need of repairs, but I haven’t been able to find anything about it. The first view includes the Bridge St bridge which was first posted here and another bridge seen from this one was posted here.

It's quite an attractive old bridge. I like the shallow arches on the underside of it.
It sure has been cold her, I have to agree!
The hills surrounding this are nice, too!
Very nice...you have given us two bridges for the price of one. The arches on the older one are so interesting. I love curves, angles, and straight lines in any type of architecture. Your first picture is especially nice.
this is a handsome bridge. i like the curves, too. marvelous shots.
Really pretty old bridge. What a juxtaposition, the old and the new. Great shots.

really pretty old bridge....hope they are able to save it. i always hate when i get pictures of historical subjects and come home to learn more and the information is very limited, so frustrating!
Two for the price of one! Cool!
Lovely how the arch of the old bridge reflects the arc of the hills behind it. Nice.
That is a beautiful bridge, in fact two bridges!
Nice bridges! I like going back to the archives from time to time. :)
A low bridge like this makes me worry after the Australian floods.
