Built in 1886, the third of the churches at Salvation Corners, Owen Sound.
Originally called Division Street Church
In 2012, after careful consideration, The Knox United Church, located one block away,
and Division Street United, decided to amalgamate
and a new name of Georgian Shores was chosen
and, for the record, I never did find the labyrinth

The Church of the Nazarene
Built in the style of an English country church, this second of the churches at 'Salvation Corners' in Owen Sound' was undergoing some construction when I was there. It looks wheelchair ramp? You can see the spire of St George's Church in the top right photo.

the bells ring out
St George's Anglican Church, Owen Sound, 1898
built of limestone, it is one of four churches at the intersection of 10th Street East and 4th Avenue East
In July of 2017, the smaller congregation of St Thomas' Anglican Church
joined with St George's
Canadian Indigenous women and girls are disproportionately affected by violence and are far more likely than other women to go missing. A National Inquiry has been slowly winding its way, province by province.

Grace United Church
Started out as a Methodist Church in 1836, with a wooden building on this site. It was replaced in 1871 with a stone building with several extensions during the next 98 years.

In 1968, five rural churches were closed and merged together with Grace United.
Eleven years later it was destroyed by a fire and reopened in 1981 after a two year restoration.
