Sainte Marie Among the Hurons was a Jesuit settlement, the first European one in Ontario

The mural was painted by Fred Lenz and is the largest outdoor historical mural in North America.

Held it's final service in January, 2016.

Niagara-on-the-Lake

The first church in town was built in 1794, but was intentionally burned down in 1813 during thee War of 1812. A new building wasn't built until 1831. It is still standing after surviving, a tornado, a lightning strike, several fires, although the spire was severely damaged during a hurricane in 1855.
