St Andrew's welcomes you

Niagara-on-the-Lake

The first church in town was built in 1794, but was intentionally burned down in 1813 during thee War of 1812. A new building wasn't built until 1831. It is still standing after surviving, a tornado, a lightning strike, several fires, although the spire was severely damaged during a hurricane in 1855.

I have seen several Presbyterian churches in this area that look like sisters!

Wow what an interesting history. We were just considering coming to Niagara on the Lake on September 30th but decided not to visit till we had more leisurely time to take it all in. Have a good week!

Niagara-on-the-Lake will always remain in my memory as one of the loveliest places I've visited in Canada.
