through a vale of trees

St John's Norway Cemetery
located at Kingston Road and Woodbine Avenue in Toronto on a large sandy hill. It has been in operation since 1853 and served mainly the middle and working class inhabitants of the east end of the city. There are 50,000 gravestones within its 35 acres.
