view over the water

Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.
~Confucius

There are some million dollar homes along the shores of Lake Ontario with this view over to the Stelco plant. It is not always pretty, but some days it doesn't matter.

Not mush smoke spewing from the chimneys. :) Actually, I think its an interesting view.

It would not be my choice of view, but to each his own.

On this day the view was a gorgeous one, but I bet when the plant gets revved up there is smoke and smog everywhere. I really do like this shot. The water is such a pretty blue and full of little ripples. Nice post. genie

I always like that view as I head along the Queen E - it's like a Burtynsky piece!

I may join you on Monday. How are you organizing the mural meme? Not like signs, signs? I am not super techy so it has to be easy or I may be in trouble. ;-)

so true...we have to slow down and pay attention to appreciate the beauty around us. Lovely sky and the deep color of the water is a wonderful contrast.

Yes, the water is a beautiful shade of blue and has a wonderful texture, but as for the far view, - not so enticing.

Well, the sky is pretty anyway and the ripples on the water are appealing. Thanks for visiting my blog. Happy weekend.

It's a beautiful distance pic!

We can see an electric power plant off in the distance past the end of our canal. I always assume that because it is there is why we can afford to live here in our little (RV)cottage (those millionaire mansions are further down the river...way further)
