We don't often see red squirrels down where I live, so this guy was a bit of a catch.
Apparently they are solitary creatures who spend their lives within a 200 yard radius.
these ones, however are much more abundant!

Red squirrels are so shy that I never see one. There are even supposed to be gray squirrels over here now.
That red squirrel is beautiful. We don't see them much either. We've got a couple of fairy diddles hanging around. They're in the same family (I think) and man, are they fast!
