golden gate

Dubbed Hamilton's Golden Gate Bridge, this pedestrian walkway crosses over the 12 lane QEW highway and the wetlands of Red Hill Creek to link the industrial east end to the waterfront. It is made of steel and the red colour is the same tint that is used on San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.

Quite the contrast from your last bridge, eh? Very sleek and modern. The angular lines really throw off your perception. 12 lanes? You must need to pack a lunch to cross!

For a moment I was reminded of a rainbow, imagining if it were to hold up a walkaway to cross the street similarly.

12 lanes is a lot of highway to cross. It must be worth the pleasure at the other end of it. The endurance of man.

Once again we have an interesting arched bridge. The capture is so pretty with the grasses blowing and the cars traveling under it. The sky is gorgeous. It must have been one beautiful day for you to be out with your camera.

Nice red arch on this bridge.

[On my post, the bridges were built at various times to serve passengers, car or trains. Yup, no two alike.]

I think this one is so interesting with the railing only on one side!

That's a lot of traffic to cross--reminds me of Chicago.

HEHE! Well you beat me to this one. :)) I DO have a photo of it but yours are much better as I took mine from a moving vehicle.
