That's a great statue, every library should have one like it. I also like the quote, it's very true. But feel free to read books much more often than that :)
Great sculpture! Fascinating! Do you know when it was made?
I do not know when it was made, nor do I know the sculptor's name. (sigh, I usually take a photo of the plaque, but maybe there wasn't any info on it?)
This is sitting on the main street in Kleinburg, if anyone knows anything about it, please share. I thought it might be by Lea Vivot, who lives there, but couldn't find any reference to it.
Beautiful sculpture and such a great reminder! Terrific shot for the day! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!
What better R can one find? Without something to read I would be at a total loss. Great!
REAL a cool idea for this R letter.I love reading poetry and romances.Nowadays I'm trying to read books in French, because I'm learning French and it is a good way to help the vocabulary stuffs and so on...
Beautiful sculpture there!

R is for R&R
I love the sculpture and the quote. Brilliant for R-week!
Did you see that I am following you now?
Beautiful sculpture. Reading is probably my favorite thing. The quote about re-reading books is wonderful. (Not one of my relatives.)

what a great statue, that must have taken a long time and a lot of work to make!
What a great idea! I read "Little Women" as a teenager and then again when my children were young - got so much more out of it. One more time then in about 15 years and we'll see how much wiser I've become. (hopefully) :D
Lovely take on Reading and mine was similar but connected with Renoir ' Reading sisters ' painting :) Thank you for the visit!!
What a lovely R post! Thanks
Cool capture, so perfect for the meme.

Robertson Davies is one of my favorite authors. I think I've read every novel he ever wrote. Lovely sculpture and reading is a great R word.
