That's a great statue, every library should have one like it. I also like the quote, it's very true. But feel free to read books much more often than that :)

Great sculpture! Fascinating! Do you know when it was made?

I do not know when it was made, nor do I know the sculptor's name. (sigh, I usually take a photo of the plaque, but maybe there wasn't any info on it?)
This is sitting on the main street in Kleinburg, if anyone knows anything about it, please share. I thought it might be by Lea Vivot, who lives there, but couldn't find any reference to it.

What better R can one find? Without something to read I would be at a total loss. Great!

REAL a cool idea for this R letter.I love reading poetry and romances.Nowadays I'm trying to read books in French, because I'm learning French and it is a good way to help the vocabulary stuffs and so on...

Beautiful sculpture. Reading is probably my favorite thing. The quote about re-reading books is wonderful. (Not one of my relatives.)

what a great statue, that must have taken a long time and a lot of work to make!

What a great idea! I read "Little Women" as a teenager and then again when my children were young - got so much more out of it. One more time then in about 15 years and we'll see how much wiser I've become. (hopefully) :D
