Sharon: It is hard to not be smiling when looking up at clouds like these!

Very nice...looks the cloud is bubbling upwards...like your words also...

Carol: Thank you. I try to come up with suitable words for my photos, so am glad when they are also commented on. I hadn't thought of 'bubbling', but it's true!

Wonderful warm fluffy clouds. They make me long for wonderful warm spring weather. I can't wait. It is so cold outside. Bbbrrr...

Irene: My thought exactly. We are also having a nasty cold spell.

There seems to be a longing on your side of the world for the sun to warm up, the days get longer and spring to emerge. I have to imagine it and remember back to a NZ childhood where it was cold and frosty tho' seldom snowed. We have little seasonal variation here tho' enough to need a little warmth in winter and of course the aircon - but only on the worst humid days for me. We do see a lot of flowering variations that mark the seasons and the days are already shortening - I paddle at dusk and now need to beat the dark home by 7pm. At Christmas it was 7.30 sunset. There is no daylight saving in Qld which is a shame.

Delwyn: Yes, there is that longing. It is those teaser days we get every now and then that remind you spring will come back and then you get walloped with another storm. Like the one we are having at the moment.

You paddle at dusk?!! Sounds a lovely way to unwind at the end of a day.

Violet - yes almost every day we do a circuit on standup paddle boards...watch my space for a guided tour coming your way soon!

I like the way the trees echoes the shape of the clouds!

Judy: so observant (I hadn't even noticed that!)
