O is for Lake Ontario

Lake Ontario
it could be as calm and clear as this
or wild and choppy like this
or just plain angy

What a change all those different states make. It looks like another lake altogether. They all have their appeal, I guess, depending on your own mood. It is really a huge inland sea, isn't it? We wouldn't even call it a lake.

that is one of the things I love about the lake- its changing moods.
but one of the things I don't love is its huge size - it doesn't feel very intimate.

Good topic, esp with the intro. I have only seen it a couple times, from Ohio. ROG, ABC Wednesday team

Ohio is on Lake Erie, not Ontario. It is interesting how each of the lakes have their own personality.

A lake for all seasons. Love the contrasts.

Even though it's not a pleasure at the time, but I love the unusual view of your last capture!

Hello.
WoW! What a contrast in photos. The first one is my favorite...kind of like me...gentle and calm (smile). Thanks for sharing.

That's the thing about even moderately big lakes that I have always loved.
