meet the meat

I rather liked the play on words for this butcher's shop

but then, I really liked the juxtaposition of the butcher's sign with the hunter cutout
which belonged to the shop next door,
which happened to be
(*neither of these shops are common in the city!)

Now that is an interesting pairing!

It looks very unique, an eye-catcher. The shops must have something special.

I didn't notice the play on words until you mentioned it - clever on their part.
The juxtaposition of the two stores is quite ironic.
Super find!

Good one.
And yes, these are unusual stores to see in a city, so this must be a small town.

Love the word play!

I'm a vegetarian because of the way the bio-industry works, but I'm not against responsible hunting. So the signs are especially appropriate to me.

The "Meat the Butcher" sign is very clever, but catching that hunter sign next to it is hysterical! THUMBS UP!!

What a coincidence having those two side by side. Like the play on words with the butcher’s sign. The other one of the man with the gun really does stand our like it was down by an ironsmith...all that black. Nice finds. genie
