crumbling

crossing the Grand River, this is one bridge desperately in need of repair.
as seen last July, I wonder what shape it will be in by winter's end?

Oh dear. I hope the rest of the bridge looked safer than this bit!

Bridge is in the very bad condition, but your photo is superb!

I have seen your picture of the amsterdam bridge in toronto. As subtile as that bridge is so opposite is the toronto bridge in amsterdam. All concrete for heavy car traffic and trams. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Yes, repair is needed. I love the texture of cement!

It looks like it will do a lot of crumbling under freezing conditions. It's a shame that it has been allowed t deteriorate so much. I suppose a new bridge will be build eventually. Is it an especially old bridge?

I have no idea how old this bridge is - there was no marker that I could find. But as I recall there were signs about a new subdivision being built, so I assume something will be done with this bridge.

I find to still be filled with personality even though the concrete has broken off from the sides. I bet it will be just fine come winter’s end...just still in need of replacement concrete. Love the angle from which you took this shot. genie

(sigh)
It has a more than passing resemblance to the condition of «Louis'» left knee - but he'll get a new on mid-January...

Belatedly, «Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.

Oh no! It is in need of repair! (Just like a lot of our bridges here in the USA!) Love the view through it of the river! Nice! Thanks for stopping by at mine.
