Beyond this entrance lies Bayfront Park and the Waterfront Trail. Formerly a vacant lot, it has been transformed over the last 18 years into a 40 acre park with trails and beaches. There is fishing and sailing on water, cycling and walking on trails, or playing and picnicking on the grass.

It's nice that they have the mast with the crow's nest standing at the entrance. It adds a real touch to the scene. Puts you in the right mood, sort to say.
I had no idea! Haven't been to hamilton in years.

Wow that looks fabulous. The waterfront trail sounds like a very nice place for recreations.
Looks like very nice place for recreation. The entrance design is lovely. That high mast could be vantage point for birds.
Thank you for stopping by.
