This large, oversized, Douglas Coupland designed red canoe sits atop a knoll surrounded by many new condo buildings with an outlook straight out onto Lake Ontario at (what used to be) Garrison Creek.

When, I don't know about the condo - all those windows! - but I sure like that canoe. Over I go and into the creek. Fun!
That's a very cool canoe! I love that it is there for the condo-dwellers to look at.
What a sight that it! Great capture!
was there a big flood or a cyclone? LOL
ready for the next disaster; good shot.

C is for Crystallized Twigs, please come and see.
oh, how i love to get my own condo :) have time to visit my C entry.
"at (what used to be) Garrison Creek"? Did they fill in the creek so they could build condos? I hope not, I hate that sort of thing.
Excellent photo, however, the juxtaposition of an ancient mode of transportation with modern design, and a background of beautiful blue sky.

What a Clever Capture of a Canoe and Condo for C day!
What a great idea. Now I am wondering if you can sit inside.
Yes, you can sit inside!
Kay: the stream (Garrison Creek) was slowly filled in and diverted to sewer system a long time ago.
This is quite curious - it looks like it will tip over. Interesting juxtaposition with the skyscraper.
Strange to see a canoe perched up alone like that! But it makes a great photo talking point!
