With all the wind that came with last week's "snowmageddon" the shoreline was full of snowballs and the promenade and railings covered completely in ice!

One false step and into the icy sea - no wonder it's shut off:-)
Definitely no place to be walking these days! Snowmageddon it is!! Wow! Hope your week is going well! Stay warm!! Great post for the D Day!
OK, I promise not to use the promenade
An Arkies Musings
Sylvia has the word: snowmageddon! Wow!
Great idea!I think lots of snow is always Dangerous!Last December, I had to "face a snow storm"here in Luxembourg, walking about 2:30 to get home at night, because everything was a caos in the city.
Don't forget that I'm from Brazil and snow it's not normal in my life until last year! :)
Cool post, thanks for sharing your ideas!
I hope everyone paid heed to that sign!
um, er, well, I may not have...
Is the sign extreme danger council speak for bit slippery. The sky looks as though its going to snow again.
Surely some wild weather this year - terrific shot. I can well imagine the danger that waits there.
some fool will crash thru on his snowmobile, i'm afraid.
ROG, ABC Wednesday team
This does look very dangerous. Hope everyone heeded the sign.
What a strange winter we have had, - it has been pretending it is Christmas Eve around here, - lots of big flakes and beautiful tops on the flowers in the garden.
And for some danger warning are but a temptation and challenge. :-)
love the colour against the snow and ice
Wow, deadly danger by the looks of it.
Thankfully I am a person who followed rules and signs. Would not messed up with this sign. Thanks for the visit!
beautiful snow image.
I like the red in this shot. And a good choice for D.
nice choice! Check out my ABC Wednesday entry too. Thanks!
You will wonder what beauty hides beneath all that white. Please have a wonderful Thursday.
snowmageddon! oh my.
i hope people would heed the sign.
Brr -- that's all I have to say about all this snow and ice -- brr!
Great photo even though I'm ready for Spring :-)
This is a great shot...and I would certainly obey the sign. It tells us that winter is still here.
Not many of us were exempt from that snowmageddon!
There was danger lurking everywhere from its visit.
Wow! A sight to admire from a great distance!
Nice shot - love the red barricade against the snow. Not sure if I would need a sign to warn me off - it looks really dangerous.
Probably healthy advise, under the circumstances, but I think about all the wonderful photo opportunities I missed out on!
At least they have blocked off the water. Great post for the week!
happy Valentine's Day!
