fog bound

bridge

It was very foggy here on Friday, so I ventured out to capture some of it. It broke enough to get a view of the promenade bridge at LaSalle Park, but not much beyond it.

the orange bush still shines through the fog. it was rather dense, wasn't it?

That promenade bridge is great. I'd enjoy promenading on it. In a thick coat against the chill.

Et dans les brumes s'avance fantasque le reflet d'un pont oublié... Très jolis clichés, bravo.

The photos look like paintings - so lovely.
I notice the bridge is one of the nicely conctructed prefab steel railings bridges like a small one here in Palos Verdes. http://palosverdesdailyphoto.blogspot.com/2010/04/pedestrian-traffic-bridge-hesse-park.html
After I discovered similar ones in St. Louis, Mammoth, Altus ... and now I always check what firm makes them.

Ooh, what a dreamy shot of the bridge! Reminds me a bit of the bridge in the Anne of Green Gables movie :-D

I agree with Ciel... the fog gives this bridge a lovely Asian character.

Curving bridges are my favorites...and the misty food adds so much to the composition. Best wishes for a great week.
