These are humorous talking sticks. I like this one. Very colorful, too!
Now that's a very cool display :)
I do hope they're glued together, or I would hate to be in charge of that exhibit. The responsibility would kill me. Do you get earthquakes there?
Sally: I like the way he has displayed certain words...
Drowsey Monkey: I guess if you are going to keep such a collection of building blocks, you might as well play around with them.
Irene: no earthquakes. and no, I didn't try to knock them over!
wow the yellow letters.. very good for kids , learning kit... please check my MYM too http://anygen-explores.info/2009/08/yellow-mellow-monday.html
Anne: some of the words might not be so good for kids, but it is an interesting collection.
You have so many alphabet cubes there. I remember only this one set that every kid had in their homes.
That is interesting display and cool yellow!
Very cool idea. Nice yellows!
could you imagine some child coming along and sitting down to play ;)
really pretty photos
I read about this exhibition. They are wonderful. The yellows really stand out.
Those are really cool...I've never seen anything like them!
Nifty find ;--)
I enjoyed 'embiggening' your photos for a better look.
Hugs and blessings,
What a unique museum display. I love the yellow tucked in with the other blocks. They really pop.I hope your day is filled with sunshine.
those are super cute
chrome3d: who knew there were so many different styles?!
Ladynred: I enjoyed walking around it finding which side of the towers had actual words or phrases.
just me again: somehow it seems a perfect Douglas Coupland display.
Diannr: or trying to recreate it exactly?
Stephanie: it was in Vancouver, too, I believe.
Becca: Imagine having all these stored in your house...
storyteller: I'm glad you 'embiggened'.
Mary: I thought of MYM when I saw it.
shopannies: I like the transformation of the styles of blocks.
at least he got to say what he wanted to say.
great post
Pete: haha, yes, he did get away with saying it!!
Terrific. such a simple idea but so effective. Love it.
Annie: an artist's mind can make it appealing.
Martha: yes. thanks for scrolling down.
