I've always loved willow trees :)
Gorgeous tree!
I played too :)
I have a fond memory of willow trees as we had a huge one beside our house when I was a kid and I spent alot of time up in that tree. Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures.
willow trees are my favorite! so big.
Willows have always been a favorite of mine.
It´s the kind of tree that inspires people write poetry. Splendid!
Nice captured. Truly a mellow yellow willow.
Beautiful aged weeping willow....one of my favorite trees...I think the branches always look so graceful with a slight breeze...great shots
Thank you all for visiting my favourite tree. Seems many people have a strong emotional attachment to the willow!
That's true Violet. A blogger friend of mine had one taken down in her garden, and I almost cried when I read about on her blog! Such a shame. I enjoyed the rest of your pictures too, I had missed a couple!
Jientje: I can relate - when I was about 14 our willow had to go when the roots encroached into the neighbours' pool and I still weep for that willow
Your springtime seems to be going at the same rate as our springtime. I love weeping willows and would want to be one if I were a tree.
Lovely photos of this willow tree.
Hugs and blessings,
