I love that City of Falls mural! Makes me want to visit just to see them! Very nice use of wall space!

The waterfall mural represents what one would find in the area and Steel Town is now part of the past. Two nice finds VioletSky.

@Andy, yes, notice the familiar Dofasco and Stelco (still much mourned...)

I like these! Isn't there still a steel mill in Hamilton? I always notice some big industrial place when you cross that bridge.

I love historical murals. What is really impressive is when businesses sponsor them. So kudos to Hutch's on the Beach. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

@halcyon, yes, but the names have changed as they were taken over and they are no longer locally owned. so Dofasco is now AccelorMittel and Stelco is now US Steel.

Cool find. Progress in steel town?

Wow - love the look in the steel workers eyes. Such defiance. Great finds.

@RedPat, not sure - those waterfalls have been there forever ;)
or if you mean the murals, I seem to be finding lots of them recently. and the new motto is 'art is the new steel'
