red canoe

Canoe Landing Parkunder the gardiner is now open.

This Douglas Coupland designed red canoe can be seen as you enter the city on the Gardiner Expressway. Since I obviously couldn’t photograph it while driving, here is a view of it from underneath the Gardiner.

And here is a [zoomed] view from the brow of the canoe. canoe view

You can easily see the cars along the highway, the boats in the lake and the planes arriving on the island.

What terrific captures! That plane looks like it's landing on a floating runway!! Love that bright red canoe! Hope you have a wonderful week! Enjoy!

The second shot is a unique combination of vehicles and I like your POV of the first shot.

I have yet to venture up that hill to see the canoe, but it sure looks impressive from the Gardiner!

This has been on my list to visit - you make it very intriguing - I'll have to get down there. Great catch of the plane landing at the island.

These are great. At first I didn't see the canoe, then I didn't see the plane!
