The Alexandra Bridge in Ottawa is under extensive rehabilitation. This lane alternates throughout the day for northbound and southbound traffic.

Off in the distance you can see the glass roof of the National Gallery of Art.

It looks like you were having to wait your turn. So many of our local bridges look like this--as if they were designed from erector sets ;)
