Beautiful sunset shot. We have been having lovely sunsets the psat few weeks although I opted to show a different sky shot. MB
This is a beautiful sky..I love the dark moody clouds...and the subtle blush of color is perfect...
Hey VioletSky, that name is favorite of mine. How did you come up with it?
Can't see it on Sky Watch without clicking through. Beautiful sky but gotta confess, the unopened peony made me smile!
Dramatic Gothic sky to go with your blog name.
Magnificent sky shot ... love the dramatic skies and the silhouettes with just a touch of pink at the horizon. I shared COLORFUL skies at Sacred Ruminations and more usual neighborhood skies at Happily Retired Gal this week ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Very dramatic. I hope those clouds don't signal rain! Great shot with the silhouetted trees and contrails from the planes. You've added some excellent shots to your blog, too. I'm enjoying them! Thanks for visiting my blogs...
Those plane trails made me take a closer look. It's almost like the sky has been torn!
A very dramatic photo, the trees against the stormy sky is so beautiful.
SQ
SCS: our sunsets have been a little dull, so this was a treat.
Carol: I was aiming for the contrails and didn't even realize how moody those clouds looked!
Storyteller: and that hint of colour stayed just that and faded.
IRB: thank you.
Linnea: thanks, and it's good to see you back.
Gennasus: I hope those passengers got a good view!
SquirrelQueen: sometimes, it is good to live up high.
Babooska: gothis skies are a favourite.
GDP: why, thank you! glad you liked the peony.
I like the romantic sound of the name. I also have a very unromantic job at night driving and thinking up my blog posts and poetry under a sometimes starry or grey or black or even violet sky.
What a fantastic sky, Violet. It is very similar to what we have here now. Rainy sort of clouds that actually let loose sometimes. I just missed such a shower today, much to my relief, because I was on my bike.
I'm still not taking the opportunity to whip out my camera. When will I learn?
Lovely colors!
Irene: stick that camera in your purse!
Gina: thanks.
J Bar: thanks for your visit.
A strange yellow sprout but vibrant. Nice sky.
Beautiful shots.
