Hello fellow CanukWhat in the world is that??Happy MYMLove Claudiexo
Gorgeous!
What an interesting plant that is! I've never seen anything like it before.
This is a great photo of such a pretty flower, they remind me of little pillows :)Great picture
Very pretty! I don't know what this is but I like the way it looks, and it's perfect for mellow yellow.
Those little flowers make me want to pop them, they're like bubble wrap.
I know what this is but don't remember the name either! Cute poem.
I have been told this is a calceolaria also known as a pocketbook plant.
I was going to say they looked like little purses. Very pretty.
Marvelous little puffy blossoms! They DO resemble tiny purses ;--)Hugs and blessings,
Those are really cute...I can see wht they are called a pocketbook plant ... they look like dainty little handbags..
I thought I left a comment here the other day, but now I remember that my Internet connection failed then.I was remembering that I had a potted plant of this in my living room in Istanbul! I didn't know it was a pocketbook plant.
Ruth: it looks like a variety of orchid ...a not as delicate ladyslipper. And thanks for the 'follow'!
That is a "slipper flower " in Finnish and in Easter time we have those in flowershops :)
Stunning photo!Mellow Yellow Monday
In Belgium we call them Venus Shoes. Lovely picture. A bit of a blast from the past for me, it's been ages since I've seen one?
Jientjy: that is an interesting name for them. it's funny how there are variations in names fro flowers in different areas.
