Forsythia always seems so springy to me. Great capture.
kayleen @ Lincoln Daily Photo
Very nice bright yellow bushes. They go very well with the green.
That is an amazing blaze of yellow.
Beautiful forsythia,my favorite spring time bush...great shots...
I love forsythia, especially when clustered together. Enjoy your Monday!
Wow - that really goes on and on - very pretty!
It looks like this in Canada right now? Can´t believe it. Nice bushes.
Everyone should 'STOP' and enjoy!
These bushes are beautiful in the spring. I love them.
Another lovely tree. Beautiful..
I like the upper pic. Great bushes and the stopsign stops your eyes from wondering out of the pic. Yellow line on the road is a bonus. Hope those bushes smells as good as they look. Happy MYM!
Those are bushes that bring a yard to life....
Beautiful!! I love forsythias and these are great shots. I like the composition of the first shot...very showy.
Kayleen, yes, that first sighting, and I know Spring is here for sure. And it is a bright yellow that goes well with the green, James and Pyzahn.
Becky, thanks for visiting. And that wasn't even all of the bushes by the roadside, Sally and Drowsey, there's more off to the left that wouldn't fit!
Yes, Chrome3d, it is. Spring Life, Debo. We get so excited when these bushes come out, don't we, Tess?
And that bottom pic of the forsythia reaching ever upwards through the other tree astounded me, Regina.
Yes, STOP, and enjoy, Angie - too bad it was a windy 2 lane road, but I managed to pull in.
Thanks, prkl and Carol for the critique. I appreciate it.
Wow..these are beautiful! For some reaon mine never have a lot of flowers.
They are rather 'full', aren't they Mary? I've seen some pretty scraggly ones too that weren't photo-worthy.
Both are LOVELY photos filled with beautiful yellows! I played at Happily Retired Gal and Small Reflections on Monday but haven't had time to visit until today.
Hugs and blessings,
Well, I am glad you made it here, Storyteller.
I really like that hedge!! The way the bushes are at different heights really adds texture to the yellowness of the blossoms! The only forsythia hedge around here is all on one level, and seems rather stereotypical in contrast with your lovely one!
And I drove past it yesterday, Judy and it is now almost all green - looks almost boring in comparison!
