Lock #1

lock #1 Lock #1 at the Welland Canal closes on the Tall Ships as they make their way to Cleveland after a fun-filled weekend in Toronto. The Welland Canal connects Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.water level

First up is The Sullivan, followed by The Bounty and bringing up the rear is The Appledore.

Another tall ship is waiting off in the distance for its turn.

Terrific captures and reminded me of the wooden ship festival here in Washington at Port Townsend that I went to last year! Love those beautiful ships! Have a great week!

OH! I am so glad you got to see the Tall Ships and took photos. I missed them and was so disappointed! (We had other obligations. Darn!)

The Welland Canal is a great place to see them up close.
