I love wall murals like this one, which is a beauty. And I was amused by the juxtaposition of the Victorian mural people and the contemporary live people walking past. Those mural people in front appear to be looking out at our contemporary sights and sounds and wondering what the heck happened!

@Halcyion, this was in Kincardine on Lake Huron. it's halfway between Goderich and Southampton - two other once great shipping ports

no, it wasn't necessarily so peaceful - there were an awful lot of shipwrecks.
