I love wall murals like this one, which is a beauty. And I was amused by the juxtaposition of the Victorian mural people and the contemporary live people walking past. Those mural people in front appear to be looking out at our contemporary sights and sounds and wondering what the heck happened!

ha! yes, I deliberately waited for these two to pass by and was glad that they glanced over at the mural :)

@Halcyion, this was in Kincardine on Lake Huron. it's halfway between Goderich and Southampton - two other once great shipping ports

What a nice mural depicting a time which seems a lot nicer and more peaceful than today, but may not have been necessarily so. Thanks for visiting my Johnny Mack Brown mural.

no, it wasn't necessarily so peaceful - there were an awful lot of shipwrecks.

It looks like the pedestrians can just step into the scene. It's so fresh and real. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
