This heavy duty pedestrian overpass connects the two dead ends of Pape Ave created by the CNR tracks that slice right through the street. Top view is from the west side with the setting sun and looking south. Bottom view is from half way up the ramp looking north on the east side. Between the tree branches, you can just barely see another small bridge that leads to the apartment building on the right.

Very nice pictures :)
Have a great Sunday
I like the industrial quality of the second shot. Have a great Sunday and Christmas!
Where is this bridge? Pape means pope in French (?) :-)))
I bet the locals are happy to have this footbridge!
Marie: this pedestrian bridge is in East York, in Toronto. I have no idea how the street got its name.
Franciska: especally as this serves as a short cut to two different shopping centres. and the streetcar!
Interesting views of this foot bridge.
That is quite a pedestrian bridge. It couldn't have cost that much less than a regular auto bridge. Nice photos.
