I love the way the breakwall reflects a delicate brown and tan into the water next to the beautiful mama and babies. Great picture!

A very tranquil photo, if life were only that peaceful always.

I can't imagine seeing anything more beautiful than baby ducks in the morning light. Great reflections too!

A lovely shot of Mama Mallard and her & ducklings. They are making nice ripples in the reflection as they swim by.

Don gave our ducklings (our first) their first water bath in a little pool on Sunday. They were so afraid of it! But eventually they got in. I was thinking, 'you can take a duck to water, but you can't make him swim.'

wenn: thanks. it is like moving art.

cieldequimper: it was actually very peaceful (obviously no one was hungry!)

Beth: it was a good thing they were too far down to reach - you just want to pick one up and cuddle it.

Clytie: once the sun rose and the glow disappeared, it was a little bland looking.

Nora: everything can change in an instant, can't it.

Diane: there is something exciting about seeing new life (even of more messy ducks)

Eileen: thank you

Pam: yes, those little ones were darting everywhere!

Serendipity: makes one pause awhile...

Cezar&Leia: thank you, Leia. hope you come back for more.

Ruth: it is fun to watch their tentative first swimming - isn't there also a saying "... like a duck to water".

Carolyn: thank you
