Thanks for stopping by my blog, I appreciate the comment. The picture of the swan in ripple of water is beautiful. I have taken lots of pictures of swans but they don't look as nice as yours. Very nice.
Have a good day.
Thanks, Terry. Some days they co-operate more than others!
Yes, the ripples. They're running circles around the Swan.
Imagine how interesting it would be if those ripples were actually imbued with some meaning the water is trying to send the bird, a way of communication from the water world, or maybe if its thoughts actually cirle around it before petering out.
What a lovely picture, I like the way the ripples slice the reflection.
What a perfect picture, I love the ripples and the reflection!
I was thinking, Anil, as I watched her, that she was perhaps quivering with a song in her heart...
Yes, that is pretty cool, Sunny. I only noticed that after I'd uploaded the pictures!
Thanks, Jientje. It is rare to see such calm in the water for perfect ripples like this.
A perfect picture with this beautiful, elegant bird. The even distance between the ripples suggests so much calm.
Thank you. I was pretty excited to see the water like this, Maia.
The ripples are perfect! They make for a fascinating reflection too. An amazing photo.
So peaceful and serene. Thanks.
This is one of those rare, perfect pictures. Not to be kept hidden in an album! I would frame it!
This is what you get with a little alone time away from the other ducks and swans, Hilda!
Thank you for your critique, Suzanne.
I may have to get this one printed, Margaret. I think it would go perfectly in my washroom...
gorgeous capture
Thanks for visiting! Love you swan photo! Very nice refection and movement in the water!
Wow, what a beautiful picture makes me think about the beautiful story I often tell my grandson Noah.

Thank you Char.
Thanks, Irene. I wonder if she knows how beautiful she is?
Thanks, Dorothy. I am fortunate to have many swans so close by all year round.
Those ripples are just perfect! And the swan is beautiful too!
This is a lovely portrait and the ripples are a special bonus. Excellent!!!
Yeah, the ripples are the best part, Linnea!
Thanks, John. Swans do have a way of posing well.
Wow!
I imagine that the swan just dipped its beak and the ripples just surrounded her.
Beautiful shot!
I smiled at your saying 'a song quivering in her heart' because the ripples certainly echo the grooves on a vinyl record. :)
It does, doesn't it Carletta!
Thanks for your insightful comment.
the ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan, and she is not used to her own reflection yet?
Ann: and she is the centre of attention.
Very much possible. We'll never know what we think, or what they feel. For all we know they might well have their own language to communicate.
This is gorgeous...each ripple so perfect flowing out from the swan!
