You will never know if you got the right one. There are too many to choose from. It boggles the mind. We had one in our garden in California where it survived for many years and got quite tall. It does take the mystery out of it.

Oh, I'm not sure I could choose from this many! What a beautiful place to visit in early December.

Snap: I actually am not a fan of the old red, so am glad of these subtle colour palettes

Sylvia: and a lot had already been sold before I had a chance to get in to take photos

Nora: well, I chose three small white and three of the larger pinkish ones and I am happy with that.

Diane: thanks, I loved those ones best, right after the white ones, and the curly burgundy ones...

Catherine: that is a more appropriate name for them, I think

Stine: it was amazing to see so many all in one place!

Whoa! That's beautiful! We have an orchid farm near us and that is mind-boggling!

Carolyn: orchids - heavenly!

I love poinsettias for their association with christmas :)

Today I saw a huge Poinsettia bush. I was unable to get a photo because of traffic. I am sad.

This collage is lovely.

There are so many to choose from. They are all beautiful though. Great photo.

VioletSky said...

Hazel: they are kept special by only being available at this time of year, don't you think?

Quilly: [then again] it would be neat to see these bushes growing wild in the open. thank you - I couldn't decide on one photo!

Eileen: these were lovely big and bushy plants, not like the scrawny ones you often end up with from the grocery store.

OH now you got me wanting to go to Leamington, and check out the Poinsettias there. Look out Colasanti's here I come! Love your collage. <(^.^)>

Sydney's Aunt: ah, so that's where you are! I am fortunate to know someone who is 'in the business' so I get access to some great wholesalers greenhouses.
