I love piping and the history associated with it. We have pipers here, many of whom play Amazing Grace at funerals. Sometimes I can hear the piping from my house. The mural says a lot on many levels. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
Cool mural! There was a bagpiper who played in the basement when I lived in a highrise on Yonge and Sheppard. He also used to practice at the cemetery around the corner. ;)

That sounds like a lovely way to celebrate ones roots. Does he play beneath this mural?
Lovely painting, it is always important to remember the own roots.
He plays on the top of the lighthouse. When I am there again I will get photos.
On the TOP of the lighthouse - this I need to see.
How cool!

Oh, I didn't know about the piper in summer. Hmmmm. I wonder if I'll get to hear him this year.
