Kew Cottage

as much fun as it is to visit all these Doors Open sites, the signs plastered in front of the buildings makes for a photographers nightmare.
this is the building with the round window from the previous post

It was clearly not someone with a photographer's eye who decided to put THOSE up! Argh! (Neat looking house, though, I love the roof on the round part, especially!

'Doors Open' would certainly satisfy my curiosity. I love to nose around in other people's houses and see what they have done to decorate them.

You would think they would put a sign on a post in front of the building on the lawn!

Sign or no sign you still captured the uniqueness of the building.

Besides, without the sign you could not post your photo on this meme(:-0)

Andy makes a good point!
But, I found I took less pictures because I didn't want the sign in the way. And did you notice that they changed colours this year?

Thank goodness for photoshop and other software that lets you erase these eyesores out. Nice house, but . . .
