It's been a long, long time since I was at Sauble Beach. This mural depicts of how the beach used to be. It was a open area and we could drive our cars on to the beach.

@Andy, you can still drive your car on the beach. I find that very strange.

We have a few beaches here where you can drive the car still, but they are rapidly going away. Nice mural - I remember driving on the beach here at home years ago with my dad...too many people are irresponsible though, so guess it will go the way of all these things from our youth.

That's a great mural. Although I've seen the Great Lakes now in our travels, I am still amazed at how ocean-like they are -- until we saw them I really did not picture that at all.
