The lighting in this capture is awesome. It creates a special aura to the bridge. I am wondering what the 4 tall structures are that appear to be behind the bridge. This is one beautiful photograph. genie

the pillars have niches in them and were originally meant to house statues, but none were ever put in, so they stand empty.

I could study the line in this bridge for hours. As Genie mentioned, the light is wonderful.

I'm betting you wouldn't get to see this bridge from this vantage point at all during the summer?!

You did catch some nice light. I now wish I had gone to the other side of my bridge fro better light.
Too bad they never put in the statues.

If the trees hadn´t been so bare, we wouldn´t have seen the bridge. The blessings of wintertime.

As Nora wrote, the bare trees opened the view of the bridge. «Louis» thanks you for this fine contribution to Sunday Bridges.
