everyday ordinary beauty surrounds us
I see a lot of these around Ontario and think they make great photo subjects!
What a very sad sight it is. I didn't realize that farms there were built of stone. There must have been plenty of them lying around.
i like the shot, tho it is sad.ROG, ABC Wednesday team
A poignant picture.
Beautiful shots.Shoes, have a happy Thanksgiving!
What an interesting find. I hope it doesn't get torn down one day. Enjoy the letter S!
Couldn't be more perfect for "S" -- and I love the picture both ways.
Great "S" post, and lovely, rather haunting photos. I wonder how old those silo and building remains are? The stonework is amazing. Think of all the backbreaking work that took!Yours is one of two southern Ontario photo blogs I follow (Southern Ontario, Discovered is the other, in case you're unacquainted with it), and it's become abundantly clear to me that you sure live in a very photogenic place! :-)
I like your treatment of the photograph. It enhances the feeling of abandonment.
