pont alexandra bridge

Somewhere, where the Rideau and the Ottawa Rivers meet, I found this bas relief model pointing out the areas of interest. On the left you can see Parliament Hill along with the Alexandra Bridge which takes you from Ottawa (Ontario) over to Gatineau (Quebec)
a view of the bridge from the Peace Tower

What a terrifically nice moody photo. The bottom one, I mean. It's great. What did you do? Climb up on the roof?

Nora: Ha, no an elevator took us to the top! Next time I will pick a day that is a bit brighter and clearer.

Quite eerie with the fog.

It looks like a day for rain gear.

@Andy: It most definitely was a day for rain gear. one reason I took the tour - it was dry inside the Parliament Buildings and I hoped it might stop before I got to the tower. It did, a little.

What a great POV of this bridge. Was that the natural color of the day or did you treat the photo? Interesting bas relief model, too.

@Francisca: I used a <5% lomo effect to highlight the bridge and the rooftop became highlighted as well. It was actually much foggier.
