Is the hawk guarding the graffiti from further vandalism? :)

The first picture is very nice. I like the juxtaposition and contrast of the different elements.

Great shots! It somehow seems fitting that an edgy hawk stands guard over geurilla art!

Graffiti just keeps popping up all the time and in some unusual places. I even enlarged this one trying to figure out what it said but had no luck. The color combination is nice, though. Genie

Whoever did the graffiti was very colorful. The hawk does look like he is standing guard.

I have decided that graffiti wouldn't be so bad if we could just read it! Which do you spot first - the graffiti or the hawk? ;)

Quite a contrast - man made graffiti and nature's hawk. Neat!

Great shot of the hawk!

The hawk looks to be in a bad mood.

I agree that I can hardly ever read the graffiti. Is it always tagging from gangs I wonder? Sometimes it's quite pretty! I like the hawk watching over the area.

Nice catch of the hawk! As for the distinction between wall art and graffiti, my definition is clear: wall art was invited (paod or not) while graffiti is a form of vandalism of personal property... even when it's nice to look at. ;-)
