frozen north facing west

the sun rise casts an eerie glow out over the still frozen lake as the shadow recedes

and after a full day of work, the sun sets off another eerie glow as it sets on the horizon.

That is eye-catching.
Strong and striking.
I feel a bout of alliteration coming on :-)

Dawn or dusk either way your photographs speak of beauty. Both would be lovely with a Haiku poem.

Beautiful contrast in the two shots. I love the ice on the waters...so pretty though it looks terribly cold. Nice work this week. Hope you have a fine weekend with lots of pleasant weather and blue skies.
