Ooh, the Queen in old money :-)

What a great Q for the Q Day! Nothing like old money -- or new money as far as that goes, I'm not picky, I'll take either! Hope your week is going well!

Is one of them Elizabeth? I heard that all of her children died before she did. Interesting huh?

At first glance the postage stamps look plain because they are monochrome, but the artwork around the portraits of Queen Elizabeth is delicate and beautiful. I especially like the one with the flowers.

I'm always happy to get postage stamps with a picture of the Queen, rather than an athlete or a beaver, or a horse, or whatever else they have decided to honour with stamps.

Great choice for Q and lovely postage stamps of her!

The Queen was young and pretty, a stamp cost 2 1/2d, but was life better?
