everyday ordinary beauty surrounds us
An early morning view from Bridge No 1 in St Catharines at the Welland Canal.
Wow, that's a lot of birds flying about! Lovely shot of the seagull standing on the bridge ;-DHappy Sunday!
Bridge #1 is not exactly a romantic name, but then neither is Pont Neuf! :-D I lived three years in St Kitts, so this is familiar territory for me. :-)
Beautiful shot and amazing view from this bridge!Léia
Love the birds taking off.....awesome shot....and it does look very early in the morning!
wow, that's a lot of birds! what a nice way to greet you 'good morning'. how many bridges are there?:p
Makes me want to wake up all over again (it's past 6:00 pm here!)
It's fabulous photo!greetings:)
What an unbelievable view you had from the bridge. All of those birds flying about is so wonderful. The coloring of this shot is lovely....romantic in its own way.I would love to be that person standing out there watching it all for myself. Great shot!
Thanks everyone. There are 8 in all, though technically they are locks, but this first one is also a road and at one time also a railway bridge.
The randomness of the birds is very interesting!
Very interesting - «Louis» loves the variety bloggers around the world come up with for this meme. A very welcome contribution to Sunday Bridges!
Amazing capture! Countless birds early in the morning!
What a lot of birds.
Lovely shot! I know St Catherine's. There used to be a Westinghouse transformer factory there. Or maybe it was Ferranti Packard?Anyway, it's a lovely area. Glad to see some pictures of it. :-)
The seagulls look very busy!
