Very cool house. Is this a Wright design?
I ask the same question, VioletSky... Doesn't look like it but I don't know. what i love is all the skylights. :)
No, it isn't a Wright (I just thought the quote was apt for this one) It is a local house that is wonderfully situated, and blew me away when I saw all those windows and skylights when the trees were bare. I thought it suited the b&w treatment.
i would love to have that house
He was always right, oh sorry ban unintentional pun!Nice house, see why you like it.
lovely photo
Char: although, the geese also love the lawn, don't know where they when I took this
Von: all puns are loved!
Pete: thanks. somehow, the b&w makes it look more futuristic.
Love your quote.
Looks surrealistic.
the quote is wonderful!
I love the peaceful darkened hue of the photo
it lets the art of the home come out on its own
well done!
Very unusual architecture but I love it. Lots of light inside that house I'm sure!
Simone: thanks. as impressive as the windows are, I cannot imagine living there.
Dianne: thank you. I almost never alter the photos on this site (except for cropping), but I wanted to make the house stand out from that one dominating evergreen and got carried away.
Jientje: it faces south, so those trees are necessary for more than privacy!
