BRRR LOOKS COLD
all the best for 2010
may it be a blessed year
Cute little piece of urban art. I'd sit next to the little guy too.
Pete: and to you! yes, it was a little cold.
Annie: these sculptures were scattered throughout the subway station - so adorable!
What a marvelous find ... how kewl that these sculptures are scatted about like this! Love the way you photographed and shared here.
Hugs and blessings,
happilyretired: thanks, I like the interaction of sculpture and people.
This is so cool!
Smiles
VioletSky, do you know who the artist is of the little sculpture sitting next to you? I saw sculptures just like this one out on Long Island by Tom Otterness. I'm going to look into it... :)
I'm sure this is a Tom Otterness sculpture. Here's a link to sculptures he's done for the subway in NY: link
Mary: Yes! I didn't get a chance to look it up until I came home and discovered how many more of his sculptures are around the city. Thanks for including the link.
By the way that is not me sitting besides Mr Moneybags at the 14th St Station.
