urban wildlife design

These decorated 5,000 gallon cisterns collect rainwater to be used for irrigation and grey water at the Brickworks.

Evergreen Brick Works is an environmental community centre in the heart of the Toronto ravine system. Its use of a wide range of green technologies make it a national hub for urban sustainability.

Your photo put a big smile on my face. I think it must have been the beaver. The brickworks sure has changed from it's brick making days.

These are so neat! I think it's great that someone has a sense of humour that he/she uses to decorate utilitarian objects.

How very interesting. I know your lovely country has a lot of neat things, but not aware of these colorful rain containers.
